SHARE-A-SECRET CRAFTFollow the directions to make your own cup and string telephone. Find a friend and try whispering to each other through the cups!
SUPPLIES NEEDED • Two paper or plastic cups • A long piece of yarn• Scissors and a grown up
to help • Markers, paint, or crayons
to decorate
DIRECTIONS 1. Decorate the outside of your cups
2. Using the tip of the scissors, have an adult help poke a small hole in the bottom of each cup.
3. Thread the long piece of yarn through each hole, connecting the two cups. Be sure that the cups have the open side facing each end of the string.
4. Tie a knot bigger than the hole on the inside of each cup to hold the yarn in place.
5. Have one person hold the cup to their ear, and the other person whole the cup to their mouth. Pull the string tight, and speak into the cup.
6. The other person can hear through the other end!
