Discovering Your SUPERPOWER!

• What DiSC Words most resonated with you?

• How do you learn BEST?

• What Left &/or Right brain characteristics do you have easy access to?

• Put it all together for…YOUR SUPERPOWER!

• Take a few minutes to talk to one of the other superheroes in the room (or just reflect on your own) to help each other discover what’s AWESOME about you!

Intuition At Work…What If You Just KNOW?

Intuition At Work

Note To Self…

• When or where have you experienced your own intuition?

• How did you experience it?

• Feeling or emotion

• Image

• Sensation in the body

• What happened when you either listened to or ignored it?

Share & Learn

• Find a new partner…someone you HAVEN’T worked with yet.

• Share your experience about listening to (or ignoring) your intuition/gut instinct.

• How did YOU experience the feeling of intuition?

• What was it like to acknowledge it?

• What reactions did you get from others?

• What will you do differently in the future if you get this feeling again?

Intuition At Work

• Back to your original table

• Share what you learned about intuition

• How can you use this tool in your team, organization, & industry?

And Now, For Some Fun…Let’s See How You Put It All Together!

Putting It All Together

• Are you ready for some friendly competition?!

• Supplies

• Guidelines & Timing

• You will have 20 minutes to build your table’s interpretation of The Eifel Tower

• The time will be split into 4 rounds

• Each round will have some rules (constraints, limitations, guidelines)

Round 1

• Only RIGHT BRAIN thinkers may talk

• LEFT BRAIN thinkers may only execute

• No planning

• No arguing

• Only DOING

Round 2

• SWITCH!

• Only LEFT BRAIN thinkers may talk

• RIGHT BRAIN thinkers may only execute

• No planning

• No arguing

• Only DOING

Round 3

• SILENCE!

• No one can talk in this round

• Execution may continue…but no talking

• NOTE…

• This is NOT a punishment!

• Whispering counts as talking. Don’t do it. Just notice what it’s like when this mode of communication is taken away. What does it do to you? To the team?

Round 4

• No limits!!

• Do what you need/want/have to do to finish your tower & make it the BEST!

Time’s UP!!

Let’s Take A Look At Those Towers…

Putting It All Together

• And the winner is…

• What did YOU win in the last 20 minutes?

• Insight about you?

• Awareness about groups?

• New thinking about different styles & how to approach them?

Key Takeaways

• Labels are not helpful…understanding IS!

• Challenge: Thank someone with a DIFFERENT strength than yours for what they contribute.

• We need Logical AND Creative Thinkers

• Challenge: Encourage participation from BOTH sides. How can you invite both into your projects & meetings?

• Your Unique Combination of Strengths are your SUPERPOWER!

• Challenge: Bring your strengths to work…ALL OF THEM! Your team needs you! Identify your inner superhero and BE THAT!

Don’t Change A Thing! But do stay in touch!!
