-Copy the “MRT_download_Win” from Afgis2010/Software/MRT/ folder to a local drive.

-Create a folder named C:/MRT_MODIS on your local C: drive

-Locate your Java/bin directory Ex. C:/Program files/Java/jre6/bin/ (Keep the path handy)

-Navigate to /MRT_download_Win/install.bat, double-click to begin installation

-Once prompted enter you directory path-When Prompted enter the windows version you are run-When prompted enter you Java/bin/ path-Once finished hit Enter to exit

-To Run the MRT navigate to C:/MRT_MODIS/bin/ModisTool.bat
