• Designed originally as a student place: digital campus center (insidehighered)

• Must be at 13 or older. If between 13 and 18, must be in high school or college.

Pros• Easy to keep in touch with friends and

family

• Only the people that you accept as friends can see your full page.

• Finding people online that haven’t seen in a LOOOONG time.

• Non-intrusively keep in touch (maybe…)

• Distance learning put name with face.

Cons

• Annoying applications

• Addiction?

• Recent problems with identity theft

• Concern with being tagged in a photo.

• Misrepresentation—trying to create a new identity.

• Copyright issues
