Dreamspark Sign Up and Azure Activation

Go to www.dreamspark.com

Scroll down and select “Learn More”under the Dreamspark for Students section

Scroll down and click “Create Account”

Enter Your Account Credentials and click “Continue to Verify”

You will have 5 options to verify: school email account, school account, International Student ID Card, verification code, or by supplying documentation

Choose “I have a school email account”, enter your email, and click “Verify”

Click “Continue”

Click “Continue” again

Choose the “Download Software” Tab

Click “Go to the Student Software Catalog”

You now have access to tons of free software including Visual Studio, Github, Xamarin, Azure, etc.

Navigate back to www.dreamspark.com and click “Get Azure Now” in the lower left hand side

Click “Register Now”

Complete verification by phone

Agree to the terms and click “Purchase”. ***Note that you are not actually being charged. There is no need to put down a credit card!***

Your account may take a couple of minutes

After completion, click “Start Managing My Service”

You will be taken to the Azure portal!
