BackgroundBefore investigating the scene, you need to know what the bones are called.

Activity1. Each group has a “shallow grave” to investigate. Send 1-2 investigators from your group (with gloves

on) to investigate the scene. Their job is to uncover the bones and place the crime scene markers next to each of the uncovered bones.

2. Send a photographer to photograph the scene. Send your photograph to Ms. Reed to print out and paste in the space below:

3. Send a different set of investigators to your group’s “shallow grave.” Sketch the placement of the bones, including the crime scene markers next to the bones in the space below:
