We have a fun filled afternoon planned on carnival day, please pop alongand support the many wonderful local businesses and groups that will be on the rec.
The Parade starts at 1:15pm from the Industrial Estate (Entrants please arrive at 12:45pm)and will arrive at the Rec around 2pm when the Carnivalwill be officially opened by the Queen, Keir Freeman.
There are prizes of £25, £15 & £10 for each category for the procession this year thanks tosponsorship from local businesses and Acorn Sales & Lettings are sponsoring a cash prizedraw which you can enter by coming along to the committee tent on the day or filling in
your details on the entry slip on page 8 of B2Day and dropping it off at the tent.
The running order is still to be finalised however in the arenawe will have the following acts:

Marching BandLings Gymnastics
Dexterity Dance Group
Around the arena we will have inflatables, a petting farm, a bar, various food stands,games and tombolas. There will also be stalls & refreshments in the youth club building.
Animals in Need are organising a fun dog show which will be held at the far endof the rec near to the newer children’s play area. This begins at 2:30pm.
