Part II - Bologna experts in action
National Teams provides counselling to HEI institutions in the following areas:
• a. Quality Assurance (internal and external)
• b. The Three Cycle System: curricular reform, national and European Qualification Frameworks (NQF/EQF), Tuning.
• c. Recognition (ECTS, Europass Diploma Supplement, Lisbon Recognition Convention). NB: the ECTS and DS labels are optional objectives.
• d. All relevant aspects of the Erasmus programme.
Part II - Bologna experts in action
Core tasks of the Bologna Experts:
• Give and receive training• Advise HEIs on reforms• Assist in policy-making• Involvement in promotional and awareness-raising issues,
including Erasmus promotion• ECTS and DS-labels

The Invitation 2009 – 2011
• Continuation of the 2008 – 2009 Invitation: same core tasks, same profile, same division between national authorities / national agencies
• Main difference: a 2-year period, which should provide:- medium-term planning instead of short term planning- more stability in Bomlogna Experts Team- actions on a more strategic level
