Otherthingsliketechnicaltrivia,rants,diversions,history,complaints,criticismsoftherequestingtender,andothernonsensenothelpfulanddistractingina

bidiswhatlosersspendmostoftheirtimeon.Thisiswhatareviewerwillconsiderasfluff,andawasteoftime.Remember,areviewerhasminimaltimeandifyouwastetheirtimeyourproposalwillsufferaswell.Secretnumber#1isthatreviewersfavorthosethatmaketheirjobtheeasiest.Commonsense,right?

Mosttechnicalpeoplethinkthatdemonstratingfactsisthekeytowinning.Itisn'tthecriticalfactorbutitispartofitcertainly.ThecriticalfactorisyoudemonstratehowWELLyouunderstandtherequirements.Ifyouunderstandwhatisimportanttomeettheneed,thenthetechnologycanbemetmanyways.Butifyoudon'tknowwhyyouareproposingatechnology-likemanycompaniesthat

haveacannedsolutionandwanttosellit-thenhowcanareviewhaveconfidenceyouwilldothejob?Ifyououtlineandunderstandtherisksassociatedwiththeproblemandyourproposedplan,thenyougivethereviewers'confidencethatyouknowwhatmighthappenandyouarepreparedfordealingwithanyeventuality.
