Promoting innovation in managing natural resources and improving farm resilience

Workshop: Innovative water management in agriculture

• Bring together recent and current activities relating to innovation in water

management in agriculture, with special attention to water quality • Gather OGs working on water-related projects • Exchange information from different groups working on the topic (e.g. EIP

water, Commission Water Task-Force, ENRD Thematic Group, OECD... ) • Territorial approaches in agricultural water management and water quality

at landscape level (e.g. examples how farmers work together at catchment level with advisors' support)

Promoting innovation in managing natural resources and improving farm resilience

Focus Groups:

• Non-chemical weed management

• Protecting agricultural productions from

frost damage

• Anti Microbial Resistance in the poultry

sector

Strengthening agricultural value chains within a circular, decarbonised bio-economy

Focus Groups:

• New feed for livestock

• Reducing food loss on the farm

Strengthening agricultural value chains within a circular, decarbonised bio-economy

Workshop: Opportunities for farm diversification in the circular bio-economy • Diversification as a way of managing risks

• Strategies for optimising the use of biomass on

the farm, consistently with the farm size and type

• New uses of biomass from agricultural supply

chains;

• New products, new markets and related logistics

• involvement of new entrants
