Selecting the correct Electric Screwdriver is the first step towards accurate fastening. „Speed is not everything“. The higher the driver speed, the more kinetic energy that needs to be dissipated (as heat), particularily when the fastener seats. The general rule is: Selecting a slower RPM Screwdriver will result in better torque repeatability of the installed fasteners.

Guideline for Preload FV and Tightening Torque MA
The below listed tightening torques MA in Nm are guidelines for metric standard threads per DIN 13 and head dimensions per DIN 912, 931, 934, 6912, 7984 and 7990. The results are based on attaining 90% of the fastener yield strength, with an assumed friction coefficient of 0,14 (new fastener, no further treatment, unlubricated).

The CECT326-SSO is a combination of a batch counter for fastened screws along with a screwdriver controller. A slow-start function is also built-in, with adjustments for slow-start time and speed. One of the earliest references to screw thread forms is the Archimedes Screw, a variation of which was thought to be used to source water in the Hanging Gardens of Babylon around 700 BC. The screw was later described by the Greek Mathematician Archytas of Tarentum (428-350 BC). Type DRTS torque sensors operate on the strain gage principle and supply an analog output signal of 0 ... ±5 VDC whichis contactless transferred. Available also with integrated rotational angle/speed measurement. Description: The Mini-Smart torque sensor uses strain gage technology. The torque signal is transmitted from the rotating shaft via frequency modulation and is processed as an analog signal. The rotational angle signal with two tracks of each 360 pulses per revolution and track is available as TTL-signal. An external electrical control input is standard. Application: The Mini-Smart torque sensor with rotating measuring shaft is suitable both for dynamical detection of starting torque and breakway torque for bolting and assembly techniques and for quality assurance in production and laboratory. Strain gauges are measuring devices for detection of stretch deformations. Minimal deformations change their electrical resistance values. They are bonded with a special glue on the components, which will deform under minmal loading. This deformation (stretching) results in a change of the electrical resis-tance of the Strain gauge device.

De-scription: The simple parameterisation allows it to be used in production when evaluating torque/revolution measurements or torque/angle of rotation measurements. The intuitive menu of the Type 4700A... allows it to be quickly adapted to new measurements and inspection tasks. Settings can be made easily for all functions, such as taring, saving peak values, ave-rage determination, setting limits, measurement duration, pre- and post triggers, calibration, scope of display, units, and the interface. Up to 20 parameter records can be stored internally in the nonvolatile flashmemory. Application: The industrial usages are numerous and various: Determination of the performance of powered equipment using torque input and revolu-tion, Design of transfer components or systems by determining the efficiency factor (for example, for clutches, brakes, gearboxes, motors and turbines), Process control when screwing or verifying the inflexion point for torque wrenches, Function control during assembly, if the torque is evaluated in dependence of the angle of rotation; for example, when checking seat adjustments and hinges. The result of the evaluation is shown on the digital display as an OK or NOK signal.

Each area is related to the others, but the values generated are independent and will not be equal. These differences should be expected and are due to the varying measurement methods and joint conditions that occur at each step of the assembly process.

The ERGO-12 is used to absorb and transfer the reaction force generated at the screwdriver during fastening, without greatly affecting freedom of movement, thereby reducing operator fatigue. Through the use of carbon-fiber tubes, the arm is extremely tough and light at the same time. With the universal adapter, the ERGO-12 support arm is capable of being mounted problem-free in most work areas.
Telescopic carbon fiber arm. The tubes have been polished for a precision fit and are guided in low-wear polymer sliding contact bearings.

Aluminum Torque Lock Sleeves for mounting Delta Regis Electric Screwdrivers in the ERGO-25
Torque lock sleeves are installed in place of the housing nut on the screwdriver. They allow for the use of the entire driver grip when installed in the ERGO-Arm and guarantee the right-angled mounting of the Delta Regis Screwdriver.
