• Collecting data of actual traveling behavior (not plans)
• Important input for number of traffic planning applications
– The effect of electric vehicles, DRT, etc. on traveling behavior
– Before and after studies

– Replacing the tedious and error prone method with papers
• The application detects position, speed, mode of transport
• The user provides the purpose of the trip by easy UI
• The data collection is done once per trip
