MARTA is looking to expand and provide more service to the
region; however, being a 37 years old (middle aged) transit
system, we have been and will continue to be in a steady state of
renewal with heavy investment in “state of good repair” projects.

Goal
Establish agile multi-year umbrella contract to implement
strategic improvements to key electronic security systems
within the Authority.
Structure
• Invitation for Bid (IFB)
• Awarded to the lowest responsive & responsible bidder
• One (1) base period with four (4) option periods
• $4,000,000 per period - $20,000,000 total

The successful Bidder must establish a local Program Management Office (PMO) consisting of:

PROJECT PRICING COEFFICIENTS
Post Contract Award the successful Contractor will propose on and execute individual projects.
The successful Contractor will have provided two coefficients to be used in pricing of projects:

RSMeans Construction Cost Data (RSMeans) Coefficient
