What we move in dance…

Where can movement initiate from?

Low Levels Usually promotes

grounded-ness and a

solid footing.

Touching the floor

communicates certainty

and assurance.

Mid-Level Usually promotes unison

movement and is the

most common level

used.

We walk, run, and act in

the mid-level throughout

most of our day.
