Third Paradise Symbol
The symbol is made of three consecutive circles. The two external circles represent all the diversities and antinomies, among which nature and artifice. The central one is given by the compenetration of the opposite circles and rep-resents the generative womb of a new humanity.
The first circle is the paradise in which humans were ful-ly integrated into nature. The second one, is the artificial paradise, developed by human intelligence to globalizing proportions through science and technology.
The Third Paradise is the third phase of humanity, realized as a balanced connection between artifice and nature.*

Michelangelo Pistoletto
Italian artist and Art theorist, considered one of the main representatives of Arte Povera. During the 60s he develops his first pieces with mirrors, which included the spectator in real time inside the play and it opened a new perspec-tive. These work gave him international recognition. Form very early in his career, Pistoletto is interested in collabo-ration and transdisciplinary projects, and he creates Citta-dellarte/Fondazione Pistoletto. Since then, the base of his artistic and theoretical work takes him to a reflection about art, which interacts with every social sector, and he invites experts from all over the world to collaborate in it. His main goal is to use art to achieve a regeneration of society.

Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto It is a laboratory integrated by specialists and researchers from the different sectors of the social spectrum with the goal of inspiring and producing a responsible change in society. Cittadellarte seeks to combine the aesthetics qualities of art with a substantial ethical commitment, to produce a real transformation in civil society.
The ideas generated in Cittadellarte are the core of a great network of Embassies of the Third Paradise. In the Cuban case, Third Paradise Cuba, works since 2014 promoting partnerships to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

REBIRTH FORUM AND CANTIERE*
/ CREATING PARTNERSHIPS:
Rebirth is the term Pistoletto uses to call the day of rebirth, or the moment in which we all unite to responsibly trans-form our society; a step in the evolution where human intel-ligence finds ways to live in harmony with nature.
Rebirth project develops Forums in different countries. These forums bring together public and private institu-tions, business representatives, academy, researchers and active citizens in civil society. The themes of a year actions are collectively discussed and elaborated in those forums, to become later the programs and lines of action of what we call the “Cantiere”.
With the direct participation of the citizens in the public life management, the concept of “power” changes its meaning radically: instead of understanding it as a dominant force, it is conceived as the “can do” of every person.*
