“Reluctant Writer” – a definition

Reluctant writer may be defined asone who’s writing is habitually superficial, either because ideas are not expanded orbecause the writing is executed in haste.Paul Gardner - February 2011

Underlying reasons for being a reluctant writer

Confident writers in English may be reluctant writers in MFL.

Working through audio frees your writers to express their ideas and develop the

techniques necessary to kick start the writing process.

To get around the barriers to writing we will breakdown the process of writing into

specific processes:

This process is ‘where the learning is’.

“The Sonocent Schools Pack is an audio-centric workspace that empowers reluctant writers to communicate and capture their ideas quickly, overcoming the underlying

challenges of putting pen to paper.”

The software visualises each phrase in a recording as coloured chunks that can be

quickly cut, pasted, deleted and segmented into key sections (paragraphs) to edit the audio, allowing thoughts and ideas to be

analysed, structured and organised.
