When you find a book, dvd, or other item in the Encore OPAC, there are a couple of

things you can do.

We’ll search for cats and take a look at the options.

Each item in the results list has a Request button and an

Add to cart button.

You can use these links to quickly request items or collect several items in a

shopping cart.

The Request and Add to cart links are also at the top of

each item record.Let’s Request this book.

Log in with your library card number and PIN.

You’ll get a window asking for a pickup location.

Choose your branch and click Submit.

But what if you want to request a lot of items? Is there a way to speed

things up?Yes!

In my results list, I’ve found the first book I want to

request.I’ll click Add to cart…

…and the link changes to read Remove from cart. This lets me know the item was

successfully added.

I’ve found another title I want to request.

I want to request both of these items.

I’ll click Request.

I want to save both items to a list for later.

Both items are checked.I’ll click Save to list.

I can save to an existing list by choosing from the drop down

menu. Or I can make a new list – that’s what we’ll do.

Type the name of your list. Give it a description if you

want to.

Then click Create to save your list.

The confirmation tells you your list was saved.

Lists are saved in your Library Account.

To view your saved lists, click on the My Account link.
