key people from ED and the SEA at the right time during the process

RENEWAL REVIEW PROCESS There are 3 structured touch points with ED

1. Completeness Check (some of these have taken place) - Call with OSS State Program Officers to discuss:a. Specific items that are missing, particularly

those that may take more time to completeb. Specific items that need clarification in order to

complete the review.2. Staff Call plus Email - between each SEA and OSS

staff to discuss areas for revision or follow-up (call followed by email)

3. Web-Ex with Conference Call - between SEA leadership and SEA staff and Department leadership and OSS staff to discuss areas for revision or follow-up to result in final version of renewal request.

Consider cutting this slide. Seems duplicative of the following slide, and also doesn't really accurately capture the number of touch points (because there will be touch points when the State submits a new flex request and when we tell them about our final decision).
