Ethics is a set of principles for what constitutes right and wrong behaviour. These principles are generally taught in the home or through religious training .
But ethical reasoning is a thinking
process that outlines why something is right or wrong .

District Ethics Committee
- deal with complaints referred to it by the School/Block Ethics Committee
State Ethics Committee
- Ethics Committee comprising eminent educationists, representatives of teacher organizations and parents.
National Ethics Committee
- NCTE and All India Federations of school teachers may jointly appoint a National
Ethics Committee comprising eminent educationists, representatives of Federations of Elementary and Secondary Teacher Organizations, National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) which is a part
of the national ethics committee.

Stenberg is a renowned Professor of Psychology and psychometrics in Okhlahama State University and he began to ponder about a situation in which a few people burnt some garbage in an abandoned strip mine in Centralia, Pennsylvania although it was illegal and unethical that ultimately burnt down the whole town.
