In the future, I want to be…

My goal is to become a God-driven , socially-relevant and productive Filipino, fostering IDEALISM and positive change as a doctor,

friend, daughter, sister, wife and mother.

I want to be a compassionate developmental pediatrician, fully competent to enrich the lives of

challenged Filipino kids and give them the kind of life they deserve. I’d also like to work with a non-profit, nationally-recognized organization [leader] to improve the country’s health care

delivery system, enabling poor Filipinos in far-flung communities to have access to first-class medical services. Finally, I’d like to germinate this sense of possibility through the next generation as I create

my own family in the future.

Lets play bahay-bahayan!

Outliers: The Story of SuccessMalcolm Gladwell

Achievement is talent AND preparation.

What distinguishes one from the other is how hard he or she

works.

Know myself, identify my

strengths and cultivate it.

The 10,000-HOUR rulePractice isn’t the thing you do

once you’re good. It’s the thing you do that makes you

good.

Constantly reassess myself and find

areas of improvement.

But what truly distinguishes their

histories is not their extraordinary talent but

their extraordinary opportunities.

Always look for an opportunity to share

my talents.

It is my responsibility to MAKE MY STAR

SHINE.

Find the kid in you! Be idealistic and help yourself reach your dreams.

In achieving success, we always need to pause and think about what we wanted as a kid because…

IDEALISM tempered with reality grounds people to work with the current situation

but at the same time allows us to have the vision of things of getting better.

With this, happiness and dreams will be easier to find and fulfill.
