Why create TDG?

What is the benefit?

Prepare Review Frequency and Severity Ask IC’s what incidents cause the

greatest problems and why. Apply pictures, set a time limit (adds

stress), develop a story line, and set parameters.

Apply reality with PPE, radio, etc….

You have three minutes to read the scenario and answer the questions.

Your engine and ambulance are dispatched to a hazardous materials incident with a possible fatality. PD is onscene and walked into a pungent odor. They also advise that there is a note with the following “Hydrogen Sulfide – one breath will kill you.” You are the seat rider with a two year relief driver and rookie firefighter.
