“In my work I try to express the socio-political complexity into which I, as an Syrian Arab living in Israel, was born. The questions I address regard my identity and the conflict that afflicts me and causes me to live on the border between two different worlds, two different cultures. I try to deal with the sexual dimension in the conflict between the cultures.”
