A Note Value is:
A musical notation that indicates the relative duration of a note, using the color or shape of the note head, the presence or absence of a stem, and the presence
of flags.
Whole Note- 4 Beats
Half Note- 2 Beats
Quarter Note- 1 Beat
Eighth Note- ½ Beat
Let’s take a look at each of these notes individually!
A Whole Note is shown above as a hollow circle representing a four beat hold in music.
