1. Familiarize
yourself with
the scriptures
referred to on the
next page.
Try to memorize
these verses so you
can quote them
with confidence.
2. As you read the Bible daily, underline
additional verses that you will be able
to use in witnessing.
Memorize as many as you can.
3. Begin to pray for individuals with
whom you might share Christ.
Trust God to provide the opportunities
for you to talk with them and the
wisdom to know what to say.
4. Spend time with these friends.
Win their confidence by doing things
with them and for them. If they see that
you really care about them, they will be
more likely to listen when you present
the Gospel to them.
5. Pray for opportunities to mention
Christ in casual conversation.
For instance you might simply ask
“What do you think happens after
death?” or “How do you think a person
becomes a Christian?” Listen to their
ideas and then say “Here’s what I
believe.” In giving your answer, quote
scriptures, especially those included in
this booklet.
Planting the Seed
TO FIND FORGIVENESS:
A is ADMIT You are a sinner. You need Christ as your
Savior, and that all those who call on the Jesus
Christ will be saved. You can't be saved
without Him.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory
of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace
through the redemption that came by Christ
Jesus.”
Romans 3:23-24.
B is BELIEVE the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God. You
can know He is Who He says He is through
God’s Word.
“For it is with your heart that you believe and are
justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess
and are saved.”
Romans 10:10
C is CONFESS to the Lord and admit to yourself that
you have sinned and need the forgiveness
that Jesus Christ offers. You can be made
righteous before God through the
righteousness of Christ.
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord
will be saved."
Romans 10:13
“. . . so that the sower
and the reaper may be
glad together.”
I know I am a sinner and need
your forgiveness. I believe Christ
died in my place, paying the debt
of my sins. Today, I turn away
from my sin and turn towards
Him. I now invite Jesus Christ to
come into my heart and life as
my personal Savior. I am willing,
by your help, to follow and obey
Christ as the Lord of my life.
Amen.
Let them know that the assurance of their
salvation is found in the Word of God.
Invite them to attend church with you.
