Plane got shot down and crashed down into Germany

Survived and became prisoner of war in Germany

Thought to be dead when the plane crashed by US Arm force

Grandfather received a purple heart in turn

I was a Vietnam war veteran

The spy plane dad was on when it got shot down in Germany
