Interklima Fan Coil seriesIs the result of many years of experience and technicaldevelopment by a company that is a specialist in themanufacturing of air conditioning products. All the fan coilshave been redesigned with current market demands in mind.They meet the needs for high standard aesthetics, quietoperation, robust construction, high performance, and easyinstallation and operation. A wide choice of air flows and coilsurfaces permit pinpoint heating and cooling capacity selection;therefore, each unit is in effect custom tailored to meet fine linecomfort requirement. Some of the most important features are:
Aesthetic perfectionModern and elegand design, with rounded edges, slim line, veryeasy to blend in with any architectural environment,complementing the interior design.
Ajustable outlet grillesThis is a very important advantage. The outlet grill comprises ofindividual plastic modules that permit bi-directional setting of theair flow, thus enabling adjustment of the fan coil to the exact likingof the user. (FC, CC models).
Whisper quiet operationPlanned airflow from intake to generously sized 4-way adjustable outletgrilles provides a fan coil unit with superior sound characteristics. Airproduced noises have been virtually designed out. Quiet resilientlymounted electric motors drive finely balanced fans. The Interklimadesigned airfoil fan-wheel with suitable dimentions, permits higherairflow with minimum fan speed. Careful construction detailingeliminates any possibility of annoying metalic vibrations. The highlyshophisticated fan impeller, is designed and exlusively used byInterklima. The impeller is manufactured from high resistance ABS,with perfectly balanced aerodynamically shaped blades. Its specialdimensions permit operation at much lower rpm than conventionalimpellers, resulting in high air performance at vey low noise level.
Heat exchangerUnits are equipped with 1, 2, 3, 4, or 3+1 rows coils, of seamlesscopper tubes and corrugated aluminium fins, tested in 30 bars airpressure, thus securing high efficiency and long life. Both two or4 pipe control systems can be specified as options along withseveral different valve packages.
PSC fractional horsepower multispeed motorsSelected from world class manufactures. These motors areespecially adapted to the Interklima impellers. They are of thepermanent split capacitor type. Apart from the 3 speeds selectedby Interklima, two more speeds are available for specialrequirements. The motor is designed to keep its powerconsumption at minimum levels to meet today’s energyconservation requirements.
Thermal accoustic insulation- The fan coil units are internally thermally and acousticallyinsulated in all areas that come into contact with conditioned air.
Wall mounting- All vertical units can be installed either directly on the floor asfree standing or, alternatively, they can be suspended from thewall by means of special key shaped holes punched in the unit’sinternal cabinet.

FC-Vertical floor free standing or wallmounted for visible installationSuitable for either floor or wall mounting. The electric board isredesigned and contains all necessary instrumentation for unitoperation (i.e. 3 speed switch, summer-winter selector switch andthermostat). Apart from standard controls, space is provided for 2additional electric buttons. The electric board is concealed underan elegant plastic cover on the top of the unit.
FB-Vertical floor free-standing or wallmounted for concealed installation This type is suitable for concealed installation in architecturalenclosures. On the top of the unit there is a specially formedsection for air outlet connection. The same control board as forthe standard FC type can be used.
CC-Horizontal for visible ceiling installationThis type in appearance is exactly like the FC type, and has thesame adjustable air grilles. A very important feature, due to thespecial design of the drainpan, is the ability of transforming anFC into a CC unit on site.
CB1-Horizontal for concealed installation infalse ceilingThis is the same as the FB type except for the ability of concealedhorizontal installation. It too may be transformed from a FB into aCB1 unit on site.
Available sizes:02, 03: Single motor, single impeller units.04, 06: Single motor, 2 impeller units.08, 10: 2 motors, 3 impeller units.
Various wall mounted controls are available for ceiling andconceiled units satisfying the needs of all applications.
