Results:

1.Mean age - 79 +/- 11.5 years (range, 63 to 89 years)

2.Resection and Application of Integra time – 108 +/- 42 mins

3.Harvest and fixation of split-thickness skin grafts were completed in an average of

77 +/- 32 minutes

4.Size of the scalp defect - ranged from 25 to 418cm2 - (mean of 157 +/- 140cm2)

5.Neodermal formation – 100%

6.Split skin graft applied - eight patients 39 +/- 26 days (1 left for secondary

healing)

7.Mean follow up period - 10 +/- 7 months (range, 1 to 24 months)

8.8/9 patients were still living – excellent graft take and cosmesis.
