History

• FIFUL began as an experiment in 1991

• Currently training approx. 400 students (not

including community members) annually

• Have trained over 2,400 students & community members

FIFUL’s Mission StatementWe exist to equip college students to

become urban leaders by engaging the gospel in an inner-city context.

Training Details

Urban Projects• Every project includes:

– Incorporation of our core values: incarnational ministry, racial reconciliation, solidarity with the Impoverished, Christian community, indigenous leadership, redistribution, relocation

– Experiential learning– Interaction with key community leaders: Randy White,

H. Spees, local pastors, neighbors, and Community Benefit Organizations

– Bible Study– Discussion and debrief on how to apply

Pink House• Annually Aug 15th-June 15th

• Applications Due April 20th

• 10-12 students• Program Pillars: Biblical Community, Leadership

Development & Urban Ministry• Requirement: 15 hrs a week: (5) House meeting and

curriculum, (5) volunteering at local agency, (5) city and nationwide conferences, trainings, events and neighborhood engagement.

• Logistics: $200/month rent. Housing @ Pink House through partnership with First Presbyterian Church & APFY Foundation.
