Figure 1: Location of porphyry copper deposits around the world.

Figure 2: Location of Cascabel project in northern Ecuador.

Figure 3: Prospect locations within the Cascabel concession. Ten porphyry centres are being evaluated, and six high priority drill targets have been identified to date.

Figure 4: Location of drill holes along the Alpala trend, showing progress of drill holes 15R2 and 16 at the Alpala deposit.

Figure 5: Southwest-northeast trending cross-section along the Hole 16 drill path, showing current depth over geology model. The hole first intersected the D10 diorite at 608m. The drill-hole is predicted to intersect the modelled QD10 quartz diorite at a depth below 1270 m.

Figure 6: Northwest-southeast trending longitudinal-section, showing high grade trends within rocks containing greater than 0.45% copper, shallowing towards the southeast.

Figure 7: Three dimensional model of the mineralization at Alpala. Grade and Volume interpolants are defined at a 0.6% copper cut-off grade. Mineralization remains open in multiple directions.

Figure 8: Staged development proposal at Cascabel, showing open pit and underground development and exploration drilling options.

Figure 9: MVI magnetic modelling at Alpala suggests that the host intrusions could be very large.

Figure 10: In 2007, local communities petitioned their provincial government to complete an access road linking Santa Cecelia and El Carmen villages. This road was approved and work commenced in late 2015. The Santa Cecelia-El Carmen Road will also provide direct access to Solgold’s Alpala Base Camp by April this year.
