Your working platform must provide a

stable working surface for all plant

used on the site.

Optimised design for your specific

requirements leads to economical

platforms.

We can complete your design with-

out fuss and fast minimising project

delay.

Design and installation of temporary

working platforms, as with any tempo-

rary works, must be undertaken in ac-

cordance with BS 5975.

But we understand that you will want

the most economical solution possible,

commensurate with the required level of

safety. Our expertise covers granular

and reinforced mats, cement stabilized

or hydraulically bound solutions, includ-

ing the re-use of onsite materials (where

appropriate).

Our experience with working design and

in developing industry best practice

makes us the preferred designer of

working platforms for many contractors.

We can also assist in determining plant

loading, and linked with our expertise in

ground improvement and slope stability

we can help you find efficient solutions

even for the most challenging site condi-

tions.

CASE STUDY A redevelopment site on an old sand quarry had single size

sand as the working platform which completely degraded in the wet, Fig A

above. Using on-site material a cement stabilised platform was provided

which performed in very wet conditions for the lifetime of the development

construction Fig B.
