• Try to get an expectation of copy length. • Copy can get chopped off without warning. • Normally clients would say something, but
not always. • Clients can change copy in the design
process, and the closer direct contact you maintain with the client, the more you can help them make changes without marring the effectiveness of the content.
Lesson Learned #1
• Ask about client availability for communications. Will they be able to answer questions in a timely manner?
• How does the client prefer to be communicated with? Text, email, phone? Take your cues from the client on communication.
