Things to Ask Yourself…

…when Adding or Dropping a Course

1. Adding – Will this duplicate a GenEd requirement I have already fulfilled?

2. Adding – Are there prerequisites or corequisites for this course?

3. Dropping – Do I have enough credits to be a full-time student?

• Full-time = 12+ credits; Maximum this fall = 17 credits

4. Adding/Dropping – Is this a major requirement?

• If not a major or GenEd requirement, then it’s an elective.

• Does your major allow electives?

5. Adding/Dropping – Do I have AP/IB/transfer credit for this course?

• Check your unofficial transcript to see if any have posted.
