If your Board were to not approve the recommended action, the earn code would not be pensionable  Fiscal and Financial Impacts  Unknown, the fiscal and financial impact will be determined by the number of employees who are eligible to receive pay for given earn codes.  Background and Discussion The Fresno County Board of Supervisors approved an additional pay element for Bargaining Unit 30 – Deputy District Attorneys.  FCERA’s Earn Code Resolution Policy provides a guideline to determine earn codes that should be included in compensation earnable and pensionable compensation.  The recommendation to approve as pensionable/non‐pensionable is consistent with FCERA’s Earn Code Resolution Policy, legal advice from Board counsel and earn codes currently being used by the County.
