BAMBOO NEEDED FOR OUTDOOR CLASSROOM

The outdoor classroom is needing bamboo lengths for different

activities. Anything above 40mm in diameter and between 2.5-6

meters in length, ideally seasoned but freshly cut works good as

well. The longer the distance between nodes the better.

We would appreciate if they were delivered to school but are also

willing to harvest them if needed. Please email

luisb@michaelpark.school.nz if you have any available.

BOARD OF TRUSTEES ELECTION 2016 Nominations for parent representative on the Board of Trustees

As the minimum number of nominations has been exceeded, an

election will go ahead.

VACANCIES AT OTHER STEINER SCHOOLS

Class 1 Teacher, Te Rā Waldorf School

We seek an experienced teacher for our Class 1 2016, from the start of term 3.

We are looking for a sound classroom practitioner who is able to work out of the principles of Waldorf pedagogy and enthusiastic about delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum to our lovely 7-year-olds.

An understanding of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi is essential, as is NZ teacher registration (or the proven ability to become a NZ registered teacher).
