The GA1.2SM20x10 series is a complete 1.2kW microwave

generator system designed for industrial heating applica-

tions requiring a high-power, 2450MHz microwave source.

Consisting of a separate magnetron head, power supply and

interconnecting cable, the microwave generator has been

designed so that they magnetron head can be remotely

installed with respect to the power supply. This separation

allows for greater system flexibility and simplifies installation

into an OEM’s system or used in a R&D application.

The generator is controlled by the power supply’s analog

remote interface or with a front panel user interface.

The power supply design utilizes state-of-the-art switch-

mode technology to provide stable, reliable, and high

performance in a compact package.

A standard 3-meter interconnecting cable with mating con-

nectors on both ends is also provided with the system.

Safety and serviceability of the system were primary design

considerations. Multiple interlocks protect the user from

high voltage and microwave radiation. Replacing the mag-

netron can be done with standard tools.
