Step 1 — Back Cover

Locate the four screws in the fourcorners of the back panel.

Step 2

Using a T5 Torx Screwdriver, beginunscrewing the four 11.0 mmscrews from the back panel.

Step 3

Using a plastic opening tool orsimilar object, find the groove in theside of the device and begin pryingopen the back panel. Work the toolaround the entire panel until it popsoff.

Step 4

Lift the beige clamp using a tweezeror your fingernail and remove theconnector.

Step 5

Lift the connector gently from thesocket.

Step 6 — Battery

Using a pair of tweezers, grab theconnecting wires and lift the terminalfrom the motherboard.

Avoid contacting battery terminalswith metallic objects.
