The block day following The Great Gatsby test, we will be having a ‘Gatsby Party’ (along with sharing our adapted lyrics/projects/and discussing research paper) and you can earn points for dressing up.

Option 2: Worth 3 pointsThere are many ways to visually sell a book; the cover art

is intended to create an appeal for the consumer. Your job is to create a new spin on “The Great Gatsby” book cover.

Must Include:1) Title and Author2) Visual representation (character, color, symbolic

references)3) 8 ½ by 11 (minimum) or poster size 4) Art must encompass entire paper. 5) Neat AND creative (especially if hand drawn)

Some guidelines for Option 2

Yes, it can be a digital images. No, it cannot be just some random cover art you

googled. I know how to google too. Yes, it can be a collage of images. And yes, it has to make sense.

Your adapted lyrics with the guidelines- Two quotes or specific references from the book- Specific language from the book- Creativity- Character name- Specific subject and speaker

A PRINTED copy of your new lyrics, as well as the ENTIRE song adapted to fit your needs.

A way of performing your new song! Must be a 1:30 long to 2 minutes long. No longer please!
