Getting Started: How to pair your Blackboard LMS with SimNet using Deep Integration

This guide will assist you with pairing your Blackboard learning management system with SimNet using deep integration.

By pairing your Blackboard account and course with SimNet you will be able to establish a single sign-on experience for

your student and utilize grade sync. In order to complete this process you will need:

A Blackboard username and password (instructor)

A Blackboard course (that you are enrolled in as an instructor)

A SimNet account (if you already have one, if not you will create one)

Step 1: Log into Blackboard.

Step 2: Locate and enter your Blackboard course.

Step 3: Click on Content via the course navigation menu.

Step 4: Click on the Partner Content button.

Step 5: Click on Content Market.

Step 6: Click on the McGraw-Hill Education option.

Step 7: Click on SimNet.

Step 8: Verify the SIMnet URL associated with your school. If the prepopulated URL is incorrect, please enter

the correct one. Click Next to proceed.

Step 9: Sign In with an existing SIMnet account or Create a new SIMnet account (if a new user).

Step 10: Pair with a new or existing SIMnet class; click Next to proceed.

Step 11: You have completed the pairing process. Click Continue to SIMnet.
