Presentation of GMRM in NODO. Ghost Magnet Roach Motel (GMRM) is a multidisciplinary group of artists from San Diego and Tijuana that create real-time mixed-media visual-sonic interventions. The interrelation of their various methodologies and aesthetic foundations come together to inform an auditory manifestation immersed in the memory “ghost” of the space, revealing human desire to connections and disconnections “magnet” speaking to the “roach”-ness of humanity, while creating a temporal performative “motel”—space where their audience can freely interact.
