A city dominated by monkeys

• Miguel was looking around him when suddenly a monkey got up on his shoulders.

• -Miguel: Who is this!? What are you doing!? (Miguel pushes the monkey?

• -Monkey: Hey you! Be careful, I have feelings!

• -Miguel: Oh God, a monkey talking!!!

• -Monkey: Oh God a human in my house!

• -Miguel: What do you mean? Is this your home?

• -Monkey: Of course it is. Humans come every day here

to take photos of us and we are fed up about it, we don’t want toursits having fun of us any more.

• -Miguel: I understand what you’re saying, but, I don’t

undestand why haven’t I heard more monkeys complainning about this or even talking.

• -Monkey: That’s because we’re not allowed to talk with people becouse you’re a bad influence for us, you don’t take care of the planet, you don’t even take care of yourselves doing Wars, etc. Anyway, we just want that you, people, leave us the monkeys alone and we’ll be very happy.

• -Miguel: But I thought that you were happy here because you live in a natural reserve with Amazing views and fresh sea air.

• -Monkey: That’s maybe true but it’s not more true than we used to live in Africa when suddenly the English king ordered to take us here.

-Miguel: English people… Anyway, You are lucky monkeys, all of you live here in the montain with lots of people taking care of you, don’t you think so?

.Monkey: Not, I don’t. Here we haven’t got private life, people are always keeping an

eye on us. Moreover, three or four times a week, doctors come and pick us up to medical test and we are tired of living like that, we need a monkey life!

-Miguel: Well… We can do a treat, all of you have to annoy English people living here up to they leaves Gibraltar, then, when Spaniards come here to live, we will take you to Africa.

Ten minutes later…

And that’s how the war between Monkeys and English people started. Nowadays, we can see many monkes around the village of Gibraltar (in trees, buildings, cafés, in the street, etc) disturbing. Eventhough, English people haven’t moved yet.
