Learning Objectives
• Understand the benefits of a Give it a Go programme
• Understand how to implement a programme of activities, how to get others to support you, and how to fund the activity
• Collect real life examples of Give it a Go activity implemented by other students’ union
• Understand common problems and obstacles faced by other SUs when developing Give it a Go

Students:• Different, fun activities• Already engaged students – get more involved• Accessible • New members for clubs and societies

Steps to starting a GIAG programme
• Talk to students• Work out funding• When can you run GIAG?• Engage student groups
(clubs/societies/volunteering teams)• Think about tickets• Promotion and marketing
Improving your current GIAG
