The Edit View is where you do your work…inserting paragraphs, checking for errors, etc.

You see here 15 of you who I added to my Workspace…Also (1) the ability to Search for addition members and (2) the procedure for removing members.

OK, let’s add your documents to the Workspace…….

Ready to Upload a Document???• Have a Word Doc on your computer desktop• For now, try to avoid Tables and Figures – later lesson.• You will upload the document into your CNX

Workspace• There will be some changes you want to make before

publishing• ONLY you and whoever you bring into your Workspace

have access to the document• Only when published do others have access – BUT,

they cannot make changes or delete you as author/copyright holder

Read the license agreement, check the read box, then click Next

Your manuscript will end up here…..

Browse to your desktop and Import your document

Your will get the message “Import Complete” andYour manuscript will be in the Edit in Place area, ready for editing….

Each paragraph is in a separate box that can be opened by clicking your mouse in the box

There, you can add, delete, correct errors, make changes and resave. SIMPLE, Eh…?
