Volunteers for ScienceVSVS is a service organization composed of undergraduate, graduate, and medical students who are committed to bringing inquiry-based, hands-on

science education to Nashville middle school students.

Typically, a team of 3-4 volunteers will partner with a 5th – 8th grade classroom teacher from the Metro Nashville Public School System and teach

science lessons to their students. For the upcoming semester, we will be teaching online instead of visiting classes in-person. There are 4 classes per semester. You do not have to be a science major to join – we will train you on

all your lessons in advance!
