What is Google Meet?

A video conferencing app

Teachers may use Google Meet to communicate with multiple students, or with families while learning at

home.

Getting Started

Your child will need his/her Google Login

User name: studentid@musd20.orgPassword: 8 digit birthdate

If you do not have this information, please contact your student’s teacher

Visit Google Chrome

Click on SIGN IN in the upper right corner of the browser window

Enter your child’s username and press NEXTusername:studentid@musd20.org

Google Suite Click on the “Waffle” in the upper right corner Of the screen to access Google Suite, then select Meet

Join a MeetUse the link provided byYour child’s teacher

ORDial in using the phonenumber and PIN

Join a MeetGo to meet.google.comSelect “Use a meetingcode” and enter thecode provided by yourteacher, then select continue

Navigate MeetWe ask that participants select mute when multiple people are in the Meet.

Verify Mic and Video settingsThen, select “Join now”

Navigate MeetYou will have the ability to view participants of the meet and ask theteacher questions via the chat feature.

Technical Support Be sure you are logged into Google and have entered the correct meeting code

Make sure you are connected to the internet
