Google recently launched Android 5.0 named Lollipop. It was announced at Google I/O, 2014 held last month. The release was limited with 5,000 API that were meant only for developers. Thus, Android app developers have enough time to explore the radical new changes in the OS as Android Lollipop shall be released for the masses in autumn this year. The event/time chosen by Google for the launch of the OS for developers and for the public release could not have been more appropriate. The latest version of Android will be available around Christmas.
