PROVISIONAL SELECT LIST

1. In pursuance to the Notification dated: 07.06.2018 cited at reference, recruitment

process to fill up 12 posts of Detective Sub-Inspector (Men & Women) including HK Region

was initiated. The Endurance Test and Physical Efficiency Test to all the candidates who had

applied for selection to the above said posts was conducted and further written examination

was conducted on 07.10 .2018 to all the candidates who had quali fied in the Endurance Test

and Physical Efficiency Test. After conducting the written examination, candidates were

called for Viva-Voce on 04.12.2018 and 05.12.2018.

2. Whereas, as per the procedures laid down in the Cadre & Recruitment (Amendment)

Rules called "the Karnataka State Police services (Investigation Force) (Recruitment)

(Amendment) Rules, 20 l3", after completing the above said process, provisional select list in

the order of merit of candidates equal to the number of vacancies notified should be

published. Accordingly, the provisional select list is prepared and is as follows:

a) This list is subject to the outcome of the results in the medical examination to be held

by a Medical Board constituted as per the rules.

b) The fact that the name of the candidates figures in this list does not give them any legal

right for appointment to the post which will be dependent on the aforesaid condition.

c) This select list is subject to the final decision of the Hon'ble Karnataka Administrative

Tribunal / Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka / Hon'ble Supreme Court ofIndia.
