The grassland biome is dry and gets about

75cm of rain each year. In order for the animals to stay cool they have to take

shelter in caves and under trees.

Here are some plants that live in the

grassland. milk weed,Golden rods, asters, the blazing sun, sweet cone, purple cone, red grass,

big blue stem, broomsedge, wild cane

and silky oat grass
