* Show awareness of your audience by:- projecting your voice

- adopting an engaged body language and connecting with your audience

- varying tone and speed in response to audience’s reactions

- rephrasing and clarifying as necessary

• Read the poem aloud in a way that helps others make sense of the text

• Offer a clear overview of the ideas and themes of the poem

• Analyse (=explain the effects created by) some language (including imagery) and structural devices, as well as rhyme and rhythm etc…

• Aim to link the poem to other(s) poems we have studied. Highest response will compare / contrast.
