Saturday, Dec 30, 2017 Following breakfast you’re
off to enjoy the heart & soul of Memphis! Visit the Slave
Haven Underground Railroad Museum to learn the story
of a German immigrant who was a part of the elaborate
secret escape railroad for slaves trying to escape to
freedom in the north. See the slave Market District
historical parks, monuments and churches. Next visit
Cotton Row and the Cotton Museum, the main economic
stay for this city…..without cotton, there would
be no Memphis as we know
it today. Learn the history
of the Mississippi River
and how it forms a city.
Enjoy a Smoke, Sauce, and
Soul lunch at BB King’s,
with
entertainment and the story of the Memphis BBQ, on
Beale Street. Although W.C. Handy, known as the
Father of The Blues, was not a native of Memphis, his
music was and still is the soul of Memphis. See Handy
Park and visit the Handy Home and Museum located on
Beale. The Civil Right movement brought another dark
time to Memphis. See the National Civil Rights Muse-
um, formerly the Lorraine Motel, where Rev. Martin
Luther King, Jr. was assassinated. Drive by St Jude
Hospital and learn the story of how a fledgling
entertainer set out to keep a promise and save children’s
lives around the world. Return to the Guest House,
dinner tonight is on your own.
Sunday, Dec 31, 2017 A visit to Graceland, Elvis’
legendary home, provides a glimpse into the private life
of this incredible musician. Our “Elvis Experience” tour

dinner complete with carving stations and
sumptuous desserts! Dance the night away while the
band plays all the popular tunes right up to a
champagne toast at midnight!
Monday, Jan. 1, 2018 Start
your day with a wonderful
brunch. Today you will be “Rock ‘n Rollin” through Memphis, enjoying the
music as you follow the path that Elvis took when
he first came to Memphis. See his first Memphis
home, his school, and where he was first seen and
heard by the public at Overton Park Band Shell.
This is the very spot where Rock n’ Roll was seen
for the first time and the rest is history. See Sun
Studios, a small but power packed studio, that
changed the world of music with the sounds of the
Million Dollar Quartet - Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee
Lewis, Carl Perkins and the King of Rock
n’ Roll, Elvis. Rock your way through the
Rock n’ Soul Museum for the full story of
Memphis music from Blues to Rock n’ Roll and on to today. Learn about other musical artists
that have been influenced by Memphis music at the
Memphis Music Hall of Fame. Tonight delight with
entertainment and a farewell dinner at one of
Memphis’ finest restaurants!
