Groups for Group Work • Find out your group in the table below. • Be seated within your assigned group. • One member of groups in left may need to be sit in the right table. Sorry!

Detailed Procedure1. Select a topic of your group.2. Register the selected topic via BBS on the OIC. No groups share one

topic. First-come-first-serve basis. 3. Prepare your presentation. 4. Using BBS on the OIC, upload the files of your presentation or

register the URL of your document by the midnight of the day before the presentation class. Be sure to include

• your group name • names and student IDs of active members.Do not send your file as an attachment by email.

5. Toyoizumi will pick 4 groups for presentations. Sorry6. At the beginning of your group’s presentation, if you are lucky enough,

you will be assigned to the speaker of your group by chance.

Peer review at the presentations

1. Listen carefully at your peer’s presentations.2. Rank them according to your own criteria.3. Submit your evaluation (the best group other

than your group) via OIC.4. Your group will be rated according to the

results. Those groups who failed to make their presentation will be evaluated by Toyoizumi.

Remember, your evaluation will be made public! Be responsible for your evaluation.

Register your evaluation

1. Login to Waseda-net portal.

2. Click “On-demand�Internet Class”.

3. Click “Introduction to Information Processing.”

4. Select “”実施” at Peer Review.

5. Answer the questions. Then click “送信”

You can view the result any time!

The result of your vote

Evaluation

The top group will gain the score 10.

The groups who made the presentation will obtain 7 - 9.

The groups who failed to make their presentation will get 0 - 7.

Those who made a good question or comment will get additional points up to 2.

Awards

The champion of group work will be decided at the end of the course according to the result of three presentations.The champion group will be given (unofficial, secret and precious?) rewards.The worst groups (the losers!) will be given time to express their excuse for the poor performance, if requested.
